Jon slowly awoke as the morning sun crept in through his barley open curtains. After trying in vain for a few minutes to will himself back into sleep, he finally conceded and slowly sat up in his bed.

He stood up, stretching as he did, and walked over to the window to fully open his curtains. He looked outside, noting that it was shaping up to be a beautiful day.

He walked over and opened his bedroom door, heading out into the hallway. He strolled over to the bathroom door, and could hear the sink running from inside. He knocked on the door a few times to let the occupant know he was there.

"Hold on a fucking minute!" came his sister Zoe's curt response. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. He could try to attribute her mood to not being a morning person, but she was almost always like this.

"Just hurry up, please." Jon replied, noting that his voice sounded a bit hoarse. It was too warm out now for him to possibly have a cold, but he supposed it could be allergies. Definitely not something worth missing school over, especially with only about a month left before summer break. He scratched his chest a bit as he thought on this, noting there was a slight soreness there, and attributing it to his gym class from the day before.

He was pulled from his thoughts by the bathroom door suddenly flying open, and his sister stomping out. "Can't get a fucking minute in there without you or Mikey fucking interrupting me. Not to mention the mess you two always leave in there. If I sit in piss one more God damn time..." she said as she marched into her room, slamming the door behind her.

Jon chuckled a bit as he could still hear her tirade from behind the door. He simply shook his head as he stepped into the bathroom. He quickly pulled down his pajamas and underwear, and lifted his shirt slightly, to relieve himself, but was startled to feel a warm sensation trickling down his leg.

Looking down in confusion, Jon gasped. Instead of the usual sight of his penis and testicles, he saw a vagina. Not only that, but a vagina that had just gotten urine all over his legs, pants and underwear.

"What the fuck...?" he quietly said as he kicked off the clothing on his lower body completely. He pulled off his shirt as well, to have an unobscured view. When he did, he noticed a few things. First, there was no doubt at all that he was now sporting a set of female genitalia, as insane as it seemed. Second, while his body had, at first, appeared to be unchanged other than that, when completely naked, he could see that his hips appeared to be just a bit wider, his waist a bit thinner, and his chest seemed to be a bit puffy.

"How could this have happened? I didn't even wish for anything last night..." he said. That thought scared him, but also reassured him. If a wish didn't cause this, he should be able to undo it with the stone.

He was about to leave the bathroom when he remembered his...accident. He quickly hopped into the shower, cleaning only what was necessary to eliminate any offensive odors.

Once done, he automatically went over to the mirror, wiping the fog that the steam from the shower had caused. He looked into the mirror and gasped a bit. It was hardly noticeable, but even his face had changed. While not much, he usually had a bit of facial hair, but today there was absolutely none. Even worse, upon close inspection, he saw that his face seemed...softer.

He quickly wrapped a towel around his waist (A passing thought said that he should cover his chest as well, but he rationalized that there really wasn't anything for anyone to see there anyway.) He hurried into his room and closed the door as quickly as he could without slamming it.

He hurried over to his dresser, dropping his towel as he did, and opened the box that held the stone. He took it out, and held it tightly in his right hand. "I wish to be back to my normal, male self." he said. He waited a moment for the familiar flash that accompanied a wish on the stone. Then a moment more. After three minutes, he began to panic. "I wish to know why that didn't work." he said, and once again, nothing.

"Damn it, why aren't you working?!" he shouted, tossing the stone across the room. He looked down at his hands, on the verge of tears, when he noticed something. There, on his left ring finger, was a ring with a gold band, and a glimmering pink stone.

"How...did I not notice that before?" Jon asked himself. The pinkness of the stone spoke to him. He had definitely not been wearing that when he went to bed last night, and then he woke up with it on, and suddenly female, at least partly.

He tugged at the ring, trying to pull it off, but to no avail. He walked over to where the stone had landed and picked it up. "I wish this ring to be off my finger." he said. He waited a moment, and sighed when nothing happened. "Didn't think so..." he said.

He heard footsteps and then a knock on his door. "Jon? What was all that noise?"

"Nothing mom." he said. "My...computer wasn't working, that's all. It's fine now."

"Well, you shouldn't be playing around on the internet before school anyway. Come down and eat breakfast, or you'll be late."

"Yeah, I'll be right down." he said. He went to his dresser and pulled out some clean boxers, a pair of blue jeans, and a plain black t-shirt. He quickly got dressed, and shoved the stone, along with his cell phone and keys, into his pocket.

He silently moved down to the kitchen and ate his breakfast. His family acted the same towards him, and didn't seem to let on that anything was different. This only solidified that the stone couldn't have caused this. There were no changes to reality.

Once he finished eating, he headed outside, saying he wanted to be early to school, which was met with his sister calling him a nerd. He didn't care. He needed to get this figured out. The ring that was stuck on his finger was clearly magic, and maybe it was capable of blocking him from using the stone. He needed some help with this, and that meant going to the only other living person who knew about the stone. He pulled his cell phone from his pocket, and dialed the number.

"Morning, Karyn, mind if I swing by your place a little early today?" he paused as she questioned him. "Yeah, I've got a bit of a problem. Stone related..."

He began walking down the street, toward his best friends house. "Alright, cool. See you in a few." he said, ending the call and placing his phone back in his pocket.
