"Give it to me, you preppy bitch," Athena said, trying to rip the stone out of Zoe's hand.

"No!" Zoe yelled. "I ..."

"No, don't!" Athena yelled back. But it was too late.

"... wish that you acted like the girl I remember." The stone glowed and suddenly Athena stopped trying to take the stone from Zoe. She really really wanted to, but she couldn't move her body to do so. "Now, what should I wish for first?" Zoe asked, forgetting that she not only wished once, but twice.

"Zoe, wait," Athena said. She felt relieved that she at least had control over her mouth. But that relief was short-lived. "The stone is, like, acting really weird and stuff." Athena wanted to widen her eyes at that moment, but couldn't. Yes, she said basically what she wanted to say, but she did it with a really breathy and bimboish voice.

"Really? How? I haven't made a wish yet!"

"But you did make a wish. Like, two of 'em. It's like, you can't remember or something." Was she always going to talk like this? Like some sort of a ditzy bimbo? Then she remembered Zoe's latest wish. Was this how she was supposed to talk in this new reality? My goddess, Athena realized. I'm not just a Prep. I'm a fucking bimbo! More than ever, she didn't want to look at herself. She imagined that she looked like some sort of a fuck-toy. But she figured that she wouldn't have much of a choice in that. Sooner or later, she'd find a mirror.

Because of Zoe's wish, Athena had to act like the girl she was supposed to be in this new messed-up reality where she and all her friends were Preps and Sarah McMillan and all her friends were Goths. But she could still think like herself and talk like herself ... sort of. Her words may have been put through a bimbo filter, but they were still her words. And that, at least, was something.

"That's silly," Zoe said, with a slight giggle. "Now ... I wish ..."
