When Jon woke-up the next morning he was still very tired when he reached over to hit the snooze button on his alarm clock. Unfortunately for Jon, he had hit the off button and did not wake-up until his mother came up to check on him a half-hour later.
"Jon, are you awake?" Jon heard his mother say after she had knocked on his door a few times to get his attention.
"Hu. What?" She heard him say from the other side of the door.
Irritated a bit, she opened the door a bit and yelled into the room. "Jon, hurry up and get ready. If you don't rush you're going to be late for school."
"OK, mom! I'm sorry for oversleeping, but I'm just not used to my new clock. I hit the off button again."
"Well, hurry up. I just don't understand why you don't set the clock to ten minutes later if your not going to get up when it goes off anyway." Jon heard her say as she started to walk back down the hall.
Reaching over to the nightstand next to his bed, Jon found the stone and picked it up and made a quick wish. "I wish that I was cleaned, dressed, and ready to go downstairs to breakfast."
Felling a slight twist, Jon found himself standing at his bedroom door with his hand on the doorknob. Jon didn't know that because of his wish that his toenails had become painted a nice shade of blue that would go well with his eye color. It would take awhile for anyone to notice this as he was wearing shoes and dark socks.
