I spent the rest of the day hanging around the tribe. I told Adius about my pregnancy and he chuckled. "That would be nice. You don't have to worry about it. I swear I will take care of you when it happens. We can't rush these types of things" he said as he cupped my face. "No, I'm sure I'm pregnant now. I know my body" I protested. He blinked and said "Were you in heat until now? I'm sorry that I didn't notice sooner". He looked skeptical but I saw he liked the idea. "Well, we will see if it happens. I'll care for our offspring when they arrive" he said as he walked past the hut. I asked where he was going. "The warriors are going to protect the hunters on the territory we won in battle. We weren't able to raid their tribe after the battle like we normally would because you were there. We now need to see whether or not they have abandoned it. If not, we might need to drive them off if they appear. If it comes to it, we might need to raid them after all" he explained. I nodded and said "That's fine. Just make sure that you're being careful. You have my greataxe now so you can protect yourself".
Adius went on ahead and I sat around for a bit before I decided to log off for the day. When I got to the real world, I messaged Suzie. Suzie always had more money and had been born to wealth. She had a special connection on her headset that allowed her to recieve calls and texts from her phone while playing. I did not have it so I needed to wait until I logged off. She was still in the game. "How are you doing, David?" she asked when the call got to her. I told her about what happened. She laughed at me and said "Congrats. I'm still in Epic City. I wanted to know if you needed something from me when I get to you". I thought about it. "Buy some healing magic spells for me. I want to spec into a healer for this character". She hummed as she thought about it. "Yeah that makes sense. In the mean time, why don't you just make another character. You can play around until I reach your centaur and save you" she said. It was my turn to think about something. Lots of MMORPG players of high esteem had multiple accounts. I wondered what I could do with another character. It would be a male for sure.
Thinking about it was really nice. I really could be anything I wanted. Do whatever I wanted. My stomach grumbling in hunger interrupted me. I decided that it would have to wait. I walked to the fridge and looked inside. I threw some food in the microwave. I also poured myself some iced tea. I ate and drank before making myself use the bathroom. After that, I went back to my room. The base game allowed for three save files. In theory, that allowed for three distinct characters. I logged into the game and opened a new file. I was back to the avatar customization room. I made sure the first thing that was set was that the character was male. From there, I had to think about what I want to do with this profile. Something that I wanted to try out was flying. I read in the dev blogs that that was something that could be done in the game. I smiled as I set the customization parameter to include wings on the avatar. With that, I was already satisfied. I then pushed the randomization button again. I wondered what was going to appear. There was more than enough time to edit my avatar.
