Just as I was going to lift my tail for him, we were approached by Menedes, Sotemon, Teodan and Arosyne. Adius looked frustrated and walked next to me. "What do you four want? We are busy" he snapped at them with a temper. Sotemon smirked and pointed at the greataxe. "We want axes like that too. If we used them in battle, we'd come out on top. Let us have the others" Sotemon said. I spoke up and said "They are not his to give. They are mine. Adius is the one who won the greataxe from me so if you want it, you can beat him in a spar". They looked at me in annoyance. "Are you going to let her tell you what to do?" Teodan asked him. Adius looked at me, but I glared at him. I already let him win for the tribe. He winced and turned to the others. He tried to placate everyone there and said "I think we all should really be thankful that Althine is here with us as a healer. Menedes and Sotemon, you both saw how she also helped us out in battle". Teodan scoffed derisively and crossed his arms with a raised eyebrow. The other centaur weren't swayed either.

Teodan said "While that may be the case, Althine won't have much use for them as a healer. A pregnant concubine cannot be fighting on the battlefield. That is why they should be ours". I said "No. I'll keep them with me. I can fight and protect myself just fine. Unless you want to fight me for them, you cannot have them". I flinched when I saw the greed in the eyes of Teodan and Arosyne. Menedes turned his nose up and said "I am not going to fight a concubine. That is just... dishonorable". He left in a huff. Sotemon repeatedly looked between Menedes and me. Eventually, he stomped his foot in frustration before following his comrade's retreating form. Adius glared at the two hunters. "You two don't need an axe to hunt. You hunters use your bows. These are axes used for fighting" he said. Teodan and Arosyne weren't deterred. I just sighed and said "Listen. If you can beat Adius in a fair spar, you can have it. If you fight me, you can have one of these axes. If you lose either fight, we get to mount you like a filly. Is that fair?" Everyone looked at me in silence.

Adius chuckled nervously. "Althine, it's not nice to make light of fighting members of the tribe like that. Even our hunters have their male pride" he said. I nodded. "That's my condition for these axes. If you want them, you need to risk something. You took the risk, Adius" I told him. Adius just hung his head. Teodan had a smirk on his face as he said "It almost looks like Adius is the concubine here". Arosyne laughed and said "Fine. I'll take you at your word and fight you. And you know what... I'll tell you what. If you somehow win, I'll let you mount me right then and there". Teodan looked at him as if he was insane. "You are going to let a concubine mount you? What will the others say?" he said. Arosyne rolled his eyes and said "There is no way we can lose. Althine is a female concubine. Even as hunters, we are going to win any fight we get into with them". "If you think that, you are welcome to try it Arosyne. I am going to enjoy proving you wrong. And I'm really going to enjoy mounting you in front of everyone". Arosyne seemed to finally lose his confidence.
