It looked almost magical. "I wish Athena could see this ..." Zoe said. Suddenly, the stone glowed brightly, surprising her.
Suddenly, Jon's room faded to black, and then...came back...as her room. Zoe frowned, looking around. How had all her stuff suddenly gotten in here?
She put the stone in her bag and went into the hallway and toward her room. Sure enough...Jon's stuff was in there. She turned around, standing in the doorway, a perplexed look on her face.
Jon came bounding up the stairs, and she gaped as he came to stand in front of her. He looked...younger. They were about the same height, when previously, he'd been a head taller. "Want something?"
"No," she said.
"Could you get out of the way then?" He said. "Chris is waiting outside."
Who the hell is Chris? Zoe thought. She moved quickly, and fled back to what appeared to now be her room and checked the mirror. She looked older. She looked at some of the changes approvingly. Some of her more awkward parts seemed to have resolved themselves. But...that wasn't important now. Somehow, she was older and Jon was younger.
