I was officially bound to Corbys then and there. No one else wanted to step up and challenge Corbys or me. Due to the duel, my first job was to heal Teodan and the critically wounded warriors. I rolled my eyes and told some of the other hunters to show me to where they put the wounded. I also had them carry him over for me. When everyone was situated, I was able to access my magic. I cast the healing spell on them and sealed their wounds. It was the most basic spell and I did not have much mana in me. However, it was more than enough to astound the ones in the medicine hut. The healer said "Thanks to you, they will all survive. They need to rest, but I can take it from here". That was more than fine with me. My mana was totally exhausted. I left the hut and looked around the tribe for Corbys. When I found him and told him what happened, he smiled and led me to his family's hut. He lived with his mother and two sisters. His sire was a warrior that left for battle one day and did not return. It was then that the three hour warning appeared in my mind.
He spent the better part of an hour talking about his family life and explain the goings on of the tribe as far as he understood them. I listened and asked if I could rest for a bit. He smiled and left me to myself. I just wanted to sit still and passively wait around. It was the best way to find things out. Since this was my new home, I was able to save and upgrade my character. I was able to put two of my skill points into my axe skills and three in healing magic. The level ups granted me a higher max health and mana bar. It also automatically filled them. Seeing that put me in a good mood. Corbys's younger sisters came to be and asked me about being a wanderer. I thought about it and told them about my encounter with the gnolls. They were both entertained. When their mother came to collect them., they were both sad to have to finish the tale. It was not a new thing for me. I calmed them down and I looked over to Corbys's mother. I had a question to ask her as I was right there. "If you wanted to have some fun, what is there to entertain you all here?" I asked.
She raised an eyebrow before she snorted. I looked at her until she finished. "I am sorry about that. You looked just like a filly right then. Other than sparing or telling us stories, the only thing we can do is get mounted. We will not get pregnant until we go into heat anyway" she said. I did not have any stories to tell others. I was not sure about male centaur sexual libido, but he was going to come of age in a few months. If he was an early bloomer, that could cause some problems for me. I did not want to broach this topic with a male unless it was absolutely necessary. It was better to be safe than sorry. I went around the tribe and asked if anyone needed help. Several fetch quests later, and it was late at night. I went back to my hut and said good night to the family I joined. I saved my progress again. From there, I logged out of the game. It took me a few minutes before I could get up from the beanbag I was sitting on. You could get violently dizzy if you stood up too fast. I passed out once and it was not a good time for me.
