Hi Greeman. Oddly enough I was just thinking about you when I saw your message. I was worried my additions chased you away so glad to see you around.
I think the last thing I personally did with them was to give Melanie (who used to be minus-four) a new identity on the system. The details of it wasn't finalised but something like her being Jenny's blood sister and being adopted by Muriel was what I was shooting for.
I implied that Melanie would be of interest to the special agents who might be aware that something out there is going on, but Hawkins probably recognises that Melanie might form a bridge to them in some way, and wants to give peace a chance. He probably doesn't have a plan, but treating Melanie with some respect can only be a good thing for now, until they understand the nature of the enemy.
I hope that all sounds reasonable to the character, I didn't make it a huge impact thing.
