Meanwhile, Sarah was thinking about what she wanted to do to Karyn. She had already decided to not change her in the same way that Jon was changed. Although, that was good for a laugh. But what Sarah didn't know was that Karyn had already changed, because of the wish she made on Jon.
Obviously, there couldn't be two Karyns, as that wouldn't be easily justifiable. So, the magic from the empathy belly turned the original Karyn into the new Karyn's twin sister Lynn, who was quite a bit less promiscuous.
So, when Sarah wished about Karyn, it only affected the new Karyn (the one that was Jon for the next day), since the original Karyn's name was now Lynn.
