"Well?" Jon asked.
"You're adopted."
"I'm what?"
"She's not your biological mother," Karyn said, pointing to Jon's mom. "So, technically, she's not your mother."
"How can I fix this? I don't want to be adopted," Jon said.
"Just because you're adopted, Jon, doesn't mean that I love you any less," her mom said. "You know, maybe we should change that name. If you're going to be a girl, you should have a girl's name."
"But I don't want to be a girl, Mom. I want to try to reverse what happened to me."
"There's nothing wrong with being a girl, Jon."
Jon sighed. "I never said there was. It's just not normal ... for me."
"I thought you said wishes couldn't be reversed."
"I did. But maybe there's a way to specify or reword what was wished. Karyn, give me the stone."
Karyn made the sixth wish (thus completing two "three wish" rounds), so anyone could make the next one. But she wasn't sure if Jon should be the one to make it. It was kind of interesting having Jon as a girl and she always wanted a girl as a friend.
Maybe she could just make the next wish herself ...
