Jon took the stone back and looked at the computer. He looked at some of the things on the screen and cringed. "How the hell could you even think this is okay? It's gross and I would fucking hate being stuck like that." Karyn looked at him in disappointment and annoyance. "I never thought you would be a transphobe." she accused as she crossed her arms. Jon scoffed and said "C'mon. You know I'm not homophobic or transphobic. I don't hate anybody. I don't care how people want to live. I just think being stuck like that would be freakish." Normally he wouldn't be so harsh, but he still had his memories from the previous timeline. He felt so violated and like an alien in his own skin. The degradation and loss of control only added to it.
He put the stone down and looked at her. She looked at him and prompted him to say something. Jon sighed and said "Listen. I think if we both go one for one, I can handle it. You can go first and change something about you and then I'll change something." She looked at him and searched his face for something. He frowned and asked "Is that okay with you? We really don't have to do this if you want to move on." She took the stone and said "No, it's okay. Let me think about something." Karyn took some time to think about what she wanted. She then stood up and said "I wish I had broader shoulders and a slightly deeper voice." Jon noticed too late that she didn't set a time limit. The changes happened right away.
