Well, it looked to me from some of the things Hermes was saying like he has not himself been incarnated as a changed human (though he does seem to have some other way to interact with non-deities if that's the case.) So it might not being a case of a mortal being "lost" to the role of the god, then. (Though he is, apparently, more awakened than Venus, if he's showing up in the real world.)
And heh :) I had the idea for a while that Two would be the only natural-born girl out of the Numbers (Anna excepted,) but having Morgana fill the role was more spur-of-the-moment (I also considered having her become the incarnation of Venus, oh the irony, but that seemed like a cheap way to undermine her whole argument.) This just seemed like a good way to answer the question of who Two was and put Morgana's plotline on less of a fast-track to confrontation; seems to have gone over pretty well :)
