Jon exhaled with a bit of a sigh and said to Karyn, "You can borrow one of my sweatshirts, by the way."

"Oh, thank you," said Karyn, and carefully took a few steps over to Jon's closet to rummage around inside.

"This didn't happen before," explained Jon. "I mean, I made a few wishes when I got it, really minor stuff, and nothing -- oh, and then you saw when I made that tree branch blue. Nothing sexy there."

"True, and we can't really count my, uh, misguided wish," Karyn said. She emerged from the closet holding a blue sweatshirt. "Hey, maybe the rock's been influenced by spending too much time in the hand of a horny teenage male."

"Ha ha," said Jon, trying to cover the stray thought he'd had earlier -- but quickly became a bit concerned, and a bit turned on, when Karyn pulled the sweatshirt over her head, and it almost instantly morphed into a tiny sequined jacket, even smaller than a typical bolero style.

"Oh, my God," said Karyn, feeling the sequined material of yet another clothing item that appeared designed to tantalize rather than conceal.

"It was your w--" Jon stopped himself and made a show of putting the rock down on the desk next to him. He started again: "It was your wish. I mean, the sexy version. You wished you were dressed as you normally would be, and so you still are."

"Holy shit." Karyn looked up at Jon, her eyes glistening a bit. "So any clothes I try to put on are going to..."

"I guess," said Jon, in response to the unspoken end of Karyn's previous sentence. "Unless we can fix it."

Karyn's lower lip quivered. "I don't know. The way that thing has been granting wishes..."

"We can try writing the wish down before we say it, which should hopefully make it foolproof," suggested Jon. "Actually, maybe we should test the rock first. We can make a wish that definitely won't turn out sexy. You have a suggestion?"
