A few minutes later, Jon opened his door and let Karyn back in. He never thought he had ever seen her so excited. But, he supposed, she had a right to be. The wishing stone was a very powerful item. It could grant almost anything, even things that seemed impossible.
"Where is it?" she excitedly asked.
"Here," Jon said, tossing it to her. "But be careful with it."
"Don't worry, Jon. Unlike last time, I've had a lot of time to plan this wish out."
Jon sat down on his bed and waited for Karyn to make her wish, not realizing that what she held in her hand was actually the Slave Stone.
