The next morning, Jon woke up to see Karyn standing next to his bed.
"Karyn! What are you doing in here?!" he yelled, as he frantically covered himself up under his bed sheets.
"Don't freak out, Jon. I just thought I'd come over early to try out the stone again. I've been thinking all night about what to wish for."
"Okay, fine. You can use it. But first, can you get out so I can get dressed?"
"Okay, Jon. Whatever you say." And she left the room.
Jon started to get ready for school, but stopped just for a moment to look at the stone. At first, he thought it looked different, but then on closer examination he saw that it was the same. So, he went back to what he was doing.
