For a moment, Nadine wasn't sure what Tiffany was doing here, but then she remembered that Tiffany was a new member of her church, one that her father Roger was trying to help. Tiffany was older than Nadine, but only by a few years. She was unsure of what she should do with her life, after graduating from high school, but Tiffany had stated at least once that she wanted to do something with the church. She didn't come from a very religious family, but in high school, she had "been saved" and wanted to devote her life to the church.
"Hello, Tiffany," Nadine said, smiling, now remembering that she and Tiffany were good friends. It was odd though. For some reason, she had this nagging feeling that something about Tiffany was wrong, or off. Was she always dressed so conservatively?
"Hello, Nadine," Tiffany said. "It's good to see you again. But why are you here? Shouldn't you be in school right now?"
