Jon woke up the next morning feeling a little dazed as the world came into focus and he began to remember the events of the previous day. He breathed a sigh of relief as he realized that he would no longer be swapping with Tiffany and that he could get on with his life, trying to repair the damage that his new reputation had caused.
He reached up to scratch his head and winced when something sharp poked him instead. Looking at his hands, he groaned when he realized that his wish hadn’t quite worked as he had planned.
Instead of the short, rough fingernails that normally greeted him, he was greeted with long and pointy fingernails. They were also covered in a shade of pink nail polish. Further inspection revealed that his hands felt smoother. Sure, they were still his big masculine hands but they felt softer and more cared for like he had been using lotion or something.
Looking up, Jon noted that there had been a couple of changes to his room as well. Instead of his TV and preferred gaming console, there was a vanity table, which was crammed full of make-up products, and a small desk area where a rather basic looking laptop sat. The laptop was bright red and Jon assumed that Tiffany used it to do her homework. Tiffany wasn’t known for her technical prowess.
Jon sighed. For some reason, his wish didn’t work even though the stone seemed to do something, maybe he could ask Karyn about it later.
