Jon met up with Karyn halfway to school. They talked about the stone, what it could do, what it could for her, and also about Jon's girl-impersonation power.
As they walked to school, however, they didn't notice Zoe trailing behind. She cursed to herself, wondering why the stone wouldn't work right for her. Up until wishing for the ability to change into any girl she liked, the stone was working perfectly. She looked ahead at Jon and his friend Karyn. They were kind of far away, but she could still see what happened next. Jon turned into a girl! And Karyn acted as though nothing out of the ordinary happened! The two girls laughed and then continued on their way to school.
Jon had her girl-impersonation power. But why? She didn't wish it for him, she wished it for herself.
Zoe quickened her pace to catch up with them. She needed to know what was going on.
