Looking at this army of five grotesque creatures, Karyn didn't feel quite as confident as she did before.
"Don't worry, Karyn," Athena reassured. "We can take them."
Karyn wasn't so sure about that. Especially after Erika the half-scorpion and Melissa the half-centipede joined the other five creatures.
"Wow," Trevor said, staring at the former-cheerleaders' exposed breasts. "They're so hot."
Sabrina elbowed Trevor in the stomach for making his stupid comment. But she did it so hard that he fell to the ground, right on top of the passed-out Jon, which of course jarred him awake. Jon looked down at the Goth boy that had woken him up and held him there.
"Hey, he's awake," Stephanie said, making Sabrina turn around and look. Jon was indeed awake, and he was holding Trevor down.
"Let go of him!" Sabrina said. But Jon wouldn't comply. He just looked up at her, displaying a wicked grin.
Meanwhile, Karyn and Athena and Zelda were busy fighting off the cheerleader creatures. Tiffany, being half-spider, had spun a web around Karyn. Fortunately, she still held the wishing stone, but she wasn't sure what to wish for, if it would actually work at all. Madison, being half-snake, wrapped her snake tail around Zelda, constricting her. Athena was busy with Erika (the half-scorpion) and Melissa (the half-centipede), who were trying to poison her. But thanks to her quick movements, Athena was doing a good job of evading them.
The other creatures were unsure as how to attack, since their strengths lied in other areas. So, they just stood by and watched the battle unfold. Of course, if any of the other soldiers were in trouble, they'd try to help out any way they could.
As all of this was happening, Dark Goddess Zoe moved on to the boys' locker room, intending to change the members of the school football team into even more of her half-human**/**half-animal soldiers.
