I crossed my arms and scoffed. "I'm not going to choose between the three of you. I might be weaker right now, but I'm not an idiot. And I am certainly not going to spend all night fucking all three of you" I said. They looked at me in shock. They turned to face me and I could see that they were getting progressively angry. I looked at Reiner and I said "I really have to go now. I did what you asked me to do. Isn't this enough?" Reiner's tail dropped as he glared at me. "Is that all you care about right now? We are throwing ourselves at you right now. I'll never understand Masters" he snapped in frustration. I shrugged and the popup appeared. I got enough exp. to level up. I also got a perk called "Champion of the Forest". The perk allowed me passive healing in forests as well a buff against enemies I fight in the forest. As a starting player, that was pretty good. "I need to get back to Epic City for now. I can talk tomorrow and help you more then" I explained as I waved.
When I heard the three chimera all chase after me, I wasn't too surprised. I had been walking on the road for about 10 minutes. I thought they would have tried to chase me down much sooner. I tried to run for as long as I could, but it was impossible. They were all faster than me, so I turned around to preempt them. I was panting and I felt all the muscle strain. This world was great. Even something like this was in the game. "What do you guys want!? You scared me!" I yelled. They looked annoyed. So was I. "Listen here, Master. I still need a place to stay. I'm going to stay with you for a while" the unnamed chimera said. I looked at them in confusion. "The spirit of the forest will let you stay. She made Reiner and Elis knights" I said. "She said no! The three of us were the ones to fight the wolf, so we get her favor. Only us" Reiner explained. I put my hand to my face in exasperation. "You two can stay then. I didn't do all of that for nothing" I said.
Turning to the third chimera, I said "I'll find a place for you. Come with me". It smirked as it trotted closer to me. I looked at it and said "That reminds me. Do you want me to name you. It will make it easier for you to blend in. If you have your own idea, you can tell me". The chimera blinked and looked at me as if it didn't understand me. It then smirked knowingly at me and said "You want to name me? That's just like a Master to do. I was wondering what Reiner and Elis meant. Come up with one. All you Masters do whatever you feel like anyway. I don't like it, I'm ripping out your throat". I rolled my eyes and thought on what to call it. Although its human form was pretty androgynous, I saw it had a sizeable bulge in its trousers. Based on that, I decided to give it a male name. Most of the NPC's seemed to have a medieval theme in their names. I had to rack my brain for a bit before I came up with one. "Your name is Tybalt. Is that fine with you?" I asked.
Looking at the chimera, I couldn't tell what it was thinking. They were schooling their face to hide their emotions. Reiner also had that trait and used it at times. He walked in front of me so that we were facing each other. He brought his head down and pressed our foreheads together. "Say it again" he commanded with a smile filled with fangs. I repeated myself. I didn't think Reiner or Elis would really let him kill me. Instead, I heard a deep purring from his chest. "Since its my choice, I will keep it. I hope you don't mind me following you back into the city" he said mockingly. I moved my head away. "I don't have time to play around. I still have to find an inn for the night. If I can't find one, it'll be a problem for me. Let's go Tybalt. I'll you guys later, Reiner. Elis" I said. I continued walking to the city. Tybalt followed at my side and the other two turned around. Now, it was up to me to find a way to hide and protect him.
