Suddenly, we heard the sound of galloping hooves. We were frozen for a second before we both pressed our bodies against the wall. Bardolf quickly grabbed his brown trousers that were at his ankles. They both looked at him in anger. The second rider drew his bow and notched an arrow. "C'mon! Why listen to a 'taur slut like this! You're telling me you'll take their work over mine!?" he said as he backed away from them. He knew he was out matched. The rider with the lance said "Get the fuck out of here. Fucking degenerate". The archer said "We will take them in our care for the time being". Bardolf ran off and I was alone with the two riders. "It really was an attempted rape. Thank you for saving me" I said with all my gratitude. The archer asked for my name. I gave them my in-game name. The archer said "I am Sir Emeric. This is my friend Sir Macey. We came from the monastery to join the ranks of the church's paladins. If you are a faithful to the Church of the Seven Roses, you might see us around St. Isopel's". Sir Macey scoffed and said "Why would a demihuman come to church. You know they're heathens".
It pissed me off. "Is that how knights act when someone's almost been raped? I guess chivalry isn't a requirement anymore" I snapped. They looked offended. "You are not a damsel in distress. We can all see your male organ under you. You won't fool anyone like that" Sir Macey snapped. Sir Emeric was a bit more apologetic. "We are sorry if the comment offended you. If you'll have us, we'll be happy to escort you inside the city" he said. I huffed a bit and said "Lead the way". The turned around and walked to the gate. Bardolf was sweating bullets when we approached. Emeric and Macey showed them their papers and vouched for me. The gates opened and I followed the two knights inside the city. It was a large medieval city. I took in the sights as I followed them to the church they were going to be staying in. It apparently was their first time in the city as well. The church was in the eastern quadrant of the city.
Across from the church were barracks and stables. The two knights stopped and turned to me. "We're here where we need to be. You can get lost. Try not to cause any problems in the city. We'll be the ones responsible if you run amok" Macey sneered. Emeric rolled his eyes and said "If you need us for something, you can come here and ask for us". Two popups appeared. Apparently, they were both quest givers. I decided I could come to do them later. I saw that both were one star out of ten. There was something much more important to me. Suzie. I had to search for her. She wouldn't be able to identify me from my appearance. I decided to go to the center of the city and start there. There was a large fountain and lots of people milling about. I looked around slowly until I saw a familiar face. It looked just like Suzie, only with cute pointy elf ears. I approached her and said "Suzie? It's me". It took only a second for her eyes to light up.
