Erin stopped into a department store on the way home and headed to the hosiery section and when she arrived to find something new for work tomorrow she had trouble recalling her size or anything at all. It was all so hazy. Why was that?
“What is going on with me today?” She thought to herself as she saw Phoebe trying on heels with glee, all slightly varied black heels like the girls at her internship all wore.
“Oh hey Phoebe!” Erin said with a perky tone as she approached. “Looks like someone is stocking up on spare heels!”
“Oh yeah! I don’t have enough, and I’ll wear out the pair you saw today quick if I don’t rotate them!” She replied adjusting her foot into a snug pair.
Erin nodded. “That makes total sense! We don’t want to look scruffy for the boss.”
“Businesswomen must always look their best.” They both said in sync and Erin grabbed her head.
“What’s wrong hon?” Phoebe said, looking worried for her.
“Nothing just...a weird headache.” Erin said. “Like something is poking my brain.”
