Jon always wondered what it would be like to have a brother or a sister. He looked further. Mikey seemed to be around his age...and the sister was a bit older.
And then he found the picture of his Mom. He didn't know how old his mom was, but the version in the photos looked much older.
He tried to decide what to do. Why would someone wish him younger? Maybe to get him out of the way? Or maybe it was a side effect of something else they wished for.
He needed help. But who? His best friend...the strange girl who might be his best friend...his Mom? He was only twelve. This was a lot of pressure for him to be under.
