"So, uh ... what ..." Gary said, trailing off immediately, at a loss for words. He was never this speechless. How did he not realize how hot Linda was before?
She put a hand on his arm. "I have worked here a while, and I was hoping that there might be some new opportunities for me," she said. "I mean...new challenges."
Gary paused. "Well, Linda...you are a highly valued member of the team, but...at a law firm...without a law degree, there is only so far you can go here...I suppose, if you went back to school and passed the bar...but is that something you are interested in doing?"

Meanwhile, Kamiko walked into a house that neither of the girls recognized fully, it felt familiar but they couldn't tell from where. Neither of the girls knew Athena, as she was only 12 years old, but they both had at one point.
The door to the house was wide open, and they were far enough behind her, that when they found her in the upstairs bedroom, which seemed to belong to a girl raised on the movie "Black Swan", she was already in the middle of putting on what looked to be a black gothic dress, which was odd, as the rest of the items in the closet didn't seem to match this one remaining dress.
As soon as she put the dress on, there was a noticeable and brief glowing effect.The end of the original chain had just connected to the beginning of the second chain....the effects rippled through the chain until they centered on Tyler Green....who would now be hunting for bedrooms as originally wished.
