Linda was going blonde ... not that she noticed, though. While she stood there, admiring her reflection, her thoughts drifted back to what Tessa had said. About her being a cheerleader. She suddenly remembered that yes, she was a cheerleader. Back in college. She even remembered putting that cheerleader uniform she found herself in next to her college one, in her closet, before leaving for work that morning. She wasn't sure how that had slipped her mind.

Karyn stared at Sarah.
"What?" Sarah asked, annoyed by how Karyn was looking at her.
"Uh ... nothing," Karyn said. Sarah rolled her eyes, groaned, then pushed past Karyn, who just kept staring.
Sarah's hair looked different. At least ... she thought it looked different. She expected the cheerleader to have long blonde hair. After all, that was the basis for part of that careless wish Karyn had made when Zendaya showed her the wishing stone for the first time. But right now, Sarah had short hair. Not only that, but it was all dyed a very artificial red color. The rest of her didn't seem any different, though. Perhaps Sarah had decided that she didn't want to be blonde anymore, and had dyed her hair overnight? Karyn supposed. But something about that seemed odd. Sarah didn't seem like the type of person to do that. Especially since she was on the cheerleading team. The captain of the team (Nicole Sullivan) wasn't the type to allow cosmetic changes like that. Was Sarah trying to get herself thrown off the squad?
Karyn headed to her fourth period class (Trigonometry) and tried to pay attention to the teacher, but her thoughts kept on returning to Sarah and the conflicting memories she had. Didn't she have this problem earlier that morning? But about something else? She couldn't remember.
It was around halfway through her class when she suddenly wondered where her friend Tim Brant was. Didn't he have this class with her? And where was Jay Duncan, the biggest nerd in school? He never missed this class. What was it with so many people missing lately?

Elsewhere, Tim finally made it back home. Both of his parents were at work by this point, so he had to get back in himself. There was a spare key hidden near the door that only he and his family knew about. He used it to get in, then headed to his bedroom to change out of the sundress, not noticing how his hair was curlier than usual.
Meanwhile, Jay was taking some time to look around the strange bedroom he had found himself in. He did take off the gothic dress he found himself wearing, putting his own clothing back on. But instead of leaving and getting back to school, he felt too intrigued by what had happened and felt the need to investigate.
While Jay was doing that, Agatha Pierce didn't question why she was driving in a direction away from the Spiked Pit, the Goth club that she owned. She had intended to come in early that day to do some paperwork, but had suddenly decided to go somewhere else. But where was she driving to?
