Biff looked up and saw Kyla Leeson, a thin nerdy girl. He blushed. "Oh, uh. Yeah. I'm okay," Biff said. Why was he so flustered? It wasn't like this was the first time he had been around a girl. He had been around a lot of girls ... right? He had a feeling that he had dated a lot. But for some reason, he couldn't quite recall who the girls were.
"Here, let me help you up," she said, holding her hand out.
Biff grabbed it and was pulled up to his feet. "Thanks," he said, smiling. "I didn't do anything...why did she do that?"
"People like that are just bullies...they like to pick on people they are stronger than," Kyla said. "Just avoid them."
"Thanks," he said, still smiling nervously, not that Kyla noticed.
Leonard Drullers walked past and paused. "Biff...what happened?"
Biff turned, frowning for a moment. Something seemed off about Leonard from this morning. Leonard was wearing a tight pair of jeans and a blue tank top. Leonard's skin looked scrubbed and clean, and his hair looked blow-dried. But...that wasn't anything new. Leonard was into fashion.
"Melony Tyne knocked him over for no reason," Kyla said.
"Are you all right?" Leonard said, sounding concerned. This was his friend, after all. They'd walked to school together, hadn't they?
