Jon tried to talk to Karyn privately but every time he got near her she was talking to someone. Most of the time it seemed to be some of the other jocks, often two or three of them at a time. Jon felt a little jealous by the constant attention from his team mates.
Eventually he got a moment alone with her near the end of the school day. Jon noticed she was looking very tired. She looked like she was in a daze. There were large circles round her eyes and she seemed to be struggling to keep them open.
"Hi Karyn" Jon said, somewhat surprised at her appearance. Her face lit up a little when she saw him.
"Hi honey" she said planting a small kiss on his lips.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, just tired as always and since I got this new look from that wish, I seem to be getting more attention than usual."
Jon saw his moment, "Maybe I can make you feel better... ...in bed, maybe." he said smiling.
Karyn smiled back. She pulled out a diary and a pen from her bag.
"Let me see," she said scanning the pages of the diary, "how about Saturday afternoon?"
"What about it?"
"We can have some time together then" she said.
Jon was a little annoyed at her attitude, "Can't we do something tonight?"
Karyn laughed, "Oh, you're being serious."
"Yes!"
She went back a few pages in the diary.
"Well tonight I've got Dean, Frank and Steve. You get on well with Frank, don't you? I'm sure he'll swap for Saturday, okay I guess I'll give him a phone later, you can have me between seven and nine."
Jon was growing confused and angry. Why were his new jock buddies spending time with his girlfriend?
"Why should I only have you for two hours?"
"It is the best way. Jon, it's not easy having fourteen boyfriends."
"You have fourteen boyfriends!?"
"Yes and I love each and every one of you. You know that. Jon why have you gone so weird on me?" she asked surprised at his jealous attitude.
