But as Kurt scrutinized the brutish policeman he saw walking towards him, he realized that he wasn't a stranger at all. Kurt took out his gun and pointed it at the man.
"Whoa, what the hell, Kurt?! What are you doing?" the man in the police uniform shouted, freaking out.
"Stay right there!" Kurt yelled out. "I don't know what you're up to, dressed like that, but you won't get away with it," Kurt said.
"I don't know what you're talking about," the man said. "Just ... put ... the gun ... down," he said, trying to calm Kurt.
"You know damn well what I'm talking about. You think I wouldn't notice who you are? Even clean shaven and in that uniform, I can still tell that you're Brick Harrison."
"And?" the man asked.
"And you're the top most wanted in Lake Point. Ever since you escaped from jail ..."
"Have you lost your mind?" the man asked, stunned. "Kurt, I'm a cop, just like you. We've been partners for a year. You know me. I'm not a criminal."
"You really think I'm stupid, don't you?" Kurt said. "Now put your hands up! You're under arrest!"
"For what?!"
"Well, for the very least, impersonating a cop," Kurt said.
"I am a cop!" Brick yelled back.
