As soon as the door closed, Karyn peeked out of the closet. Jon was gone. she hurriedly opened the suitcase. All the clothes she had on earlier were in there, neatly folded. She got dressed as quick as she could. She wanted to make a wish before Jon came back.
Fully dressed, she picked the rock up off the desk. Her wish had to be a good one, and if she hurried Jon wouldn't know about it at all.
