Jonatha picked up the phone, having just set down her bag in her bedroom. “Hey Jade, what’s up?”
“Uhhh…” It was clear he was nervous. “You know how Ash and I had hooked up a few weeks ago?”
“Yes, honey?”
“Well, uh… If he’s a weakling now… Did another gurl maybe take his place? And...and… Am I pregnant?”
Jonatha’s eyes grew wide with concern. “Well, let me see if I can get some information.” She rummaged for the box with the cat paw and put the phone down for a moment.
“I wish I knew if Jade hooked up with another gurl, and if so, if she is pregnant.”
