"Ok, so what is your idea then Karyn," Jon said as they entered her bedroom.
"Ok, well first I want you to promise that you will hear me out before you make any comments or interruptions. Promise?"
"Yeah, ok Karyn, tell me your plan," he replied as he sat down on her bed.
"Ok, now this might seem a little crazy, but I was thinking instead of wasting your time teaching me how to do everything, and since you have already aced the class, well that maybe, I don't know we could arrange some changes for the final," Karyn began.
"Wait, whoa, time out, I am not sure I like this idea," Jon interrupted.
"Hey, you promised to at least hear me out," Karyn replied.
"Ok, I am sorry," he replied as he repositioned himself on her bed and let her continue with her idea.
"Ok, so it is the last final of the year. You do not have to take it, but you know the material so well that you could take the test and ace it. What if you took the test for me, and then that way, I would get a good enough grade that I would pass the class, and would then be able to work this summer," Karyn said with a big smile on her face.
"Karyn, Mr. Mattson will notice me taking the test for you, there is no way I could take a test in your place, I would get caught, and we then both would be expelled for cheating."
"What if Jon, you could take the test for me and not get caught. What would you want from me for that?"
"I am not sure I am going to like this, but if I were to take the final for you, what did you have in mind to offer me," Jon replied.
"Well, ok I was think you know I needed a job this summer and that I will be working as a life guard at the pool, maybe I could let you in there whenever you want to come in, and even could arrange other things. Also, I know, I will do whatever you want me to do for a week, and I will even give you whatever I get for my good report card. What do you say," Karyn said with a smile.
"Ok, I am going to regret this, but how do I take the test for you?" Jon asked.
