"The stone isn't supposed to work that way, Karyn," Jenny said.
"Well, it did. You're living proof of it."
"But you're supposed to say I wish, not you wish." Jenny grabbed the stone and said "I wish to know why the last wish was granted." But the stone didn't glow and Jenny didn't get her answer. "There has to be something wrong with it. Maybe it's broken."
"I hope not. It's not like we can get it fixed or something."
Then Jenny got an idea. "Actually, we may be able to."
"What do you have in mind?" Karyn asked.
"Well, my sister, as you know, is a Goth. And she frequently shops at this one store called The Occult Stop."
"Yeah, I think I know where that is."
"Well, they have tons of books on magic there. Maybe we could find something that will fix the stone."
"Sounds like a plan to me," Karyn said. And they left to go the occult store.
