It worked, exactly as he wanted it to. Jon immediately concentrated and brought back the huge TV. Then he added a full selection of gaming systems, and improved his computer and desk. Thinking for a second, he decided not to be satisfied with just state of the art. Jon upgraded all of his stuff to voice control and holographic projection, and was satisfied when his computer brought up his e-mail on command. His room was looking a bit small, so he expanded it, adding in extra bookshelves to hold his books and his new movie collection, and increasing his bed to a King size. He made the whole room self cleaning, self organizing, and self making. To test it, he threw his sheet down and walked away. Once it was clear that he wasn't getting back into bed, the sheet picked itself up and the bed was remade in an instant.
Realizing that if his mom saw his room magically cleaning itself, or for that matter if anyone saw him doing stuff like this, they would freak, he added, concentrating hard, that no one would notice anything unusual that resulted from his power unless he wanted them too. He also added that any changes he made to people would seems to everyone to be the way they always were, with the minimum possible changes to their life.
Taking a last satisfied look at his room, Jon headed downstairs, willing Mikey to lower the volume on the TV and watch quietly as he walked past, grabbing some orange juice from the fridge and sitting down to think.
Changing his room was one thing, but since the stone had limits, his powers might, too. He needed to test them before he got to carried away.
