"Maybe you should change me to look like Mike," Karyn proposed in a rather excited voice:
"What! Why? You look fine as you are," Jon objected. "Why would you want to look like a football player with a pussy?"
"Well, Jon, if that's your taste I mean, you're going out with Mike, and that's how you've made him," Karyn replied.
"That's not anything I planned," Jon stated.
"That makes you all the guiltier," Karyn maintained. "Deep down inside, Mike must be the kind of partner you really want. That's why you subconsciously made him the way he is. Well, if that's what it takes for you to ask someone out, then change me."
"Karyn, are you jealous of Mike?" Jon suddenly asked. "I mean, we've been friends since we were little kids! In fact, we're best friends. But I never thought of you as a date!"
"I know," Karyn wimpered, and then Jon noticed a tear in the corner of her eye.
"Karyn, I don't know what to say," Jon mumbled.
"Don't say anything. Just hug me," she replied.
Awkwardly, Jon stepped forward and gently touched the back of Karyn's shoulders. Karyn, however, wasn't nearly so reserved. Placing her hands behind Jon's spine, she rapidly pulled him forward until their bodies were touching from lips to hips, and then on to toetips.
"If we have to be freaks, I wish we could be freaks together," Karyn sobbed, and only then Jon noticed that he was holding the stone against her.
