Biff came downstairs. "Umm...hi, ma'am," he said. "I'm Leonard's...friend, Biff. Have you seen him?"
"No...he must have left...skipping breakfast, poor dear." Mrs. Drullers said.
Biff's stomach rumbled, unintentionally. He hadn't eaten and he was starved.
Leonard's mother heard it. "Would you like some? I do have extra."
As Biff sat down to eat breakfast, trying to pretend nothing was weird, neither he nor the woman serving him noticed Leonard sneaking in.
