"Nothing! I'm the same as I've always been!" Nadine yelled. She was frustrated. Nothing made any sense. It was like she was in an episode of the "Twilight Zone"! Everything was upside down and wrong!
"Look," Kyla said, pushing her glasses up on the bridge of her nose. "We can't both be right. Maybe it is some kind of parallel universe...but I thought that sort of thing only happened in sci-fi shows."
"Parallel what?"
"Let's say every time you turned left...another world exists where you turned right. Where you made a different decision."
"This is some high-grade nerd shit, Kyla..." Nadine said.
Kyla looked at her. "Do you have a better explanation?" She asked, softly.
"Fine, so how do we fix it and get things back to normal?"
"Your normal or my normal? I have no idea...we need to look around. I have to get to school though," Kyla insisted.
Nadine sighed. "I was going to ditch, but...considering this craziness, I might as well be there." She paused. "But, do you think it's my school or your school?"
