Officer Sean Briggs escorted the bimbo who had once been his partner Officer Robert Bowen upstairs. He got her to sit down on the bed in the master bedroom, and attempted to speak with her.
"Do you remember who you are?" Briggs asked her.
"Sure. I'm Berta. Short for Roberta." the bimbo said, with a giggle.
She thinks she's supposed to be a girl!, Briggs realized.
"No, you're not. You're Robert Bowen, a police officer for the Lake Point Police Department." Briggs said. "A male police officer. A guy. You just think you're a girl because of the Bimbo Water."
"Nuh-uh. Just look at me." Berta said, arching her back in a sexy pose. "If you think I'm a guy, you need glasses." She giggled again.
"I know." Briggs said awkwardly. "But you're not supposed to be. You fell into water filled with some chemical that changed you into this."
"Like, are you high?" Berta giggled. "That's silly."
"You don't remember, do you? We were here to get evidence that the Bimbo Water - which turns people into ridiculously hot girls even if they were guys to start with - is real." Briggs said. "And I guess now you are evidence. You fell into the pool and changed."
"Uh, I dunno what you're talking about."
Briggs wondered what it would take to get through to her. The Officer Robert Bowen he knew had to be in there somewhere. What could he do to make her recall who she was? He'd show her Bowen's badge and ID, but while they hadn't dissolved with the police uniform, they and Bowen's gun and other equipment had sank to the bottom of the pool in the yard. And at the moment, there was no safe way to retrieve them.
"Look, we don't have time. We're almost finished here. Now, we need to get you dressed so we can go." Briggs said. He figured he could try again to get through to her when they were back at headquarters.
"Okay." Berta said. "Can I dress sexy? I loove sexy outfits."
Inwardly, Briggs cringed. But he knew he had to put on a brave face and get on with this. "Fine, I'll pick one and see if you like it." he said.
He looked in the closet at the various sexy outfits that had been purchased to dress the bimbos in. The 'sexy policewoman's' outfit caught his eye. As stated before, no self-respecting actual female police officer would be caught dead in an outfit like this. It consisted of a midriff-revealing low-cut blue shirt, cut-off shorts, and heeled boots. It was completely impractical for actual police work. It was better suited for an exotic dancer who performed in nightclubs wearing outfits that appealed to male sexual fantasies.
However, it was close enough to a police uniform. Perhaps it would be enough to trigger some memories in Berta. Briggs could only hope so.
"Here, you can have this." he said, handing her the sexy policewoman's outfit.
"Ooh, nice!" she said with a giggle. Eagerly, she began dressing herself in the outfit as Briggs tried not to watch. After a while, she spoke up again. "Tada! Look at me!"
Briggs turned, and saw the new sexy Berta, dressed as a cheap strip joint parody of a female police officer. She smiled and strutted sexily up to Briggs. "I'm ready when you are. You can cuff me anytime, officer."
"Uh..." Briggs stammered. She was coming on to him, something she'd never do in her right mind. "It's all right. We don't need to. Let's just go to the car."
"Ooh, am I really a cop like you said?" Berta asked. "Cool! That means I can cuff bad guys and frisk them and do all kinds of cool stuff. Like..." She licked her lips.
"Let's just go to the car." Briggs repeated, taking Berta by the arm and escorting her downstairs.
At the car, Detective Adamson made his report to headquarters. "We've found all the evidence we need, I think. Dr. Chance's computer had a whole series of files on the Bimbo Water. We found a collection of cellphones belonging to the people our suspects say they are. And we found more traces of the Bimbo Water."
He then reported on Officer Bowen's accident at the pool, and how the Bimbo Water in the pool had turned him into the sexy Berta. Lieutenant Post responded that the chemical and biohazard teams were on the way to seal off the house.
Soon afterward, Briggs arrived with the bimbo Berta in tow. Adamson noted the outfit Berta was dressed in, and knew right away that there would be plenty of complaints at HQ about it. Still, it was no one's fault except Bowen. Adamson had warned them to stay away from the pool.
"Did you really have to dress her in that outfit?" Adamson asked Briggs.
"I figured it would help. She doesn't seem to remember who she was." Briggs said.
Adamson nodded. "That matches the description the suspects gave. However, we still don't know how they were cured."
Adamson pondered this for a while as he awaited the arrival of the chemical and biohazard units. The previous batch of bimbos who had invaded the water supply facility had all regained their former memories and personalities just at the moment the plan was about to be carried out. None of them knew how or why it happened. Adamson planned to discuss some of this with the other detectives back at HQ, but there were some things he intended to keep to himself. The others didn't need to know about the second copy of the data he would keep for himself, nor did they need to know of his thoughts about how one could profit from the Bimbo Water, or its as yet unknown cure.
Soon, the chemical and biohazard units arrived, and Dr. Chance's house was sealed off with yellow police tape. After some discussion, Adamson drove off, with Briggs and Berta in the car. It wasn't long before they paused before a stop sign. After a moment, they turned right, passing the stop sign.
"Wait!" shouted Berta. "We're cops and we're breaking the law! You're supposed to wait for it to turn green!"
Inwardly, Briggs facepalmed. It was going to be a long ride back to the precinct.
