The two friends walked in to school together and went to their separate classes. To anyone watching it looked just like any other Friday morning. Karyn went to Jon’s English class and Jon went to Karyn’s home Ec class. As far as the two friends were concerned it was the best start to a day at school they had had all week so far.

Even the boys who were watching Jon walk to the class didn’t even bother him. I must be getting used to it. He thought not really noticing the slight sway in his hips as he walked down the hall. Karyn was enjoying the discussion that they were having in English class. It turned out that the book that Jon’s class were studying was one of her favourite books.

When the bell went at the end of the period it had come as a surprise to both of them. The two of them turned to start the journey towards the library for their study period. Jon being at the opposite end of the school had the longest to walk to get there not that he minded much.

Karyn was already in the library with a notebook and pen in her hands. In the few minuets since she had got there she had already started work on a way to solve Jon’s problem about attending her cousins wedding that weekend. Not that she had an answer as of yet.
