The drive to her new home was over before it began for Lonna Tran. The hardest part of the trip was trying to stop Jake’s hands from wandering from the steering wheel to her. As much as she was developing feelings for him and one part of her would have gladly let his hands continue on their journey. The part of her that was still his teacher and not his girlfriend no matter what she may look like at this moment was more concerned about reaching their destination safely.

After what seemed like no time at all they pulled up outside the Rodriguez place. Lonna got out of the car and leaned over to pick up her bag and gave Jake a kiss. “See you later.” She said to a disappointed Jake. Lonna turned towards the door of her new home. Well at least for until school tomorrow when she would she if “She” had figured out an answer to their problem.

The journey that Lauren Rodriguez was taking part in was a very different thing indeed. There were no wandering hands just two women enjoying each other's company. Lauren found out more about her Assistant Principal than she had ever thought she would.

Mary Elliot was enjoying spending time with her friend she had not managed to spend as much time with Lonna as she would have wanted. She thought that giving her a lift home would allow them to catch up a little. However, for some reason, Lonna seemed a little distant with her. Maybe it had just been a hard day at school.

Around 30 mins later Mary pulled up outside a large building. “Here we are Lonna your place,” Mary said as she brought the car to a stop. Lauren looked at the building and wondered which one of the many apartments contained within belonged to the life she now leads. Once again Mary Elliot came to the aid of her erstwhile friend. “Do you mind if I come up and use your bathroom before I head back to Jim and the kids?” “Of course not,” Lauren replied. “It’s the least I can do.” She went on to say all the while thinking that at least she now had someone to lead her to the apartment she was going to have to spend the night in.
