Lonna was having a similar conversation with her erstwhile boyfriend. Well, that’s what he was for the moment and the more the day had gone on the more she thought of him like that. Before Lonna could answer Jake's question from a moment ago she saw that door to the classroom open. A second or so later she saw both Mrs. Elliott and “Her” walk out of the room.
Lonna knew that thanks to the delay she had faced with Jake stopping her she had missed her chance to talk to “Ms. Tran” before they both left school for the day. Now, what was she going to do?
“Well, babe I guess it’s time to go home for the day. Come on I will drop you off.” Jake said to Lonna. “That would be great Babe I don’t feel like walking today,” Lonna replied to him trying not to show the disappointment in her voice. Now she was stuck as a teenager for the rest of the day.
With that, she turned and walked beside Jake to where he had parked his car. Well, at least I won’t need to try and figure out where I am sleeping tonight since Jake is dropping me off there. She thought to herself walking along the corridor.
Once more both women were moving to opposite ends of the school. Lauren moving towards the staff car-park laughing and smiling with a woman who that morning she would have been afraid of. Lonna walking towards the spot just outside the grounds where Jake had parked his car all the while trying to deny the feeling that was developing in her new youthful body for the teenager who was walking beside her.
