“I guess that I’ll go next,” Jonatha said eagerly. He always enjoyed playing the game, especially when he got to play other men. He particularly enjoyed it when he got to play househusbands like his father. The different dresses that he got to wear throughout each week. It was exciting.
Dipping his manicured hand into the bag, he excited pulled out his name.
“Kayrin Black!” Jonatha cried out. “Ugh, I have to be that goth freak for a week.” He looked around at his family. “Can I please switch?” he pleaded, but his father and mother shook their heads.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart,” his mother said. “You know the rules: once you’ve chosen, you can’t go back.”
Jonatha flopped back in his chair with a frown on his face and crossed his arms over his chest. Zane couldn’t help but laugh.
“Cheer up bro, you’ll be a natural. You’re already acting like Kayrin.”
Jonatha glared at Zane and then looked down at himself and realised that she was right. He quickly adjusted his position so that it was more befitting of a young laddie.
