Behind the mirror, Miss Fine, a facilitator assigned to Jon's case, made notes on her pad.
She left Jon alone and entered the adjoining room, where Linda Madison was waiting for her. "I'm Miss Fine, I'm assigned to this case," she said, offering a hand, which Linda shook. "Please sit down."
They both took a sit. "Part of my job is facilitating the transition for you and your family," she said. "So, you have two children, a girl and a boy."
"Three," Linda corrected. "Jon, Zoe, and Mikey. Jon is 17, Zoe is 15, and Mikey is 12."
Miss Fine nodded. "And your husband passed away two and a half years ago?"
She nodded. "It was particularly hard on Zoe."
