The next day, Jon went over his options. He decided that he wanted as much autonomy as possible, so he wanted to be human from the waist up. Most of his options for that were chairs of some sort. Jon chose an office chair, as the wheels would allow him to move about easier. He noted that, while he could swivel himself around from side to side, he could not 'roll' from place to place as if he were walking. He would either need to pull himself along with his arms or have someone push him where he needed to go.
His human half would end at the waist, with his spinal column extending down to the seat of the chair. That part was a normal office chair, which even included the normal chair arms on which Jon could rest his human arms. He would still have his sense of touch in his chair half. Once the transformation was complete and he was settled into his new form, he would be performing clerical and office jobs. His personality would be altered to allow him to love positions of that nature and he would also enjoy having people sit in him and use him as an actual chair.
Finally, Jon chose what he would look like. He decided on platinum blonde hair, dd-cup breasts and full, ruby lips. His chair half would be upholstered in royal blue. He gave his decision to his nurse. "You have good taste," she said. "You know, I don't know if you could tell when you first came in, but the receptionist there has almost this exact same transformation punishment."
Jon thought for a second. He seemed to remember that the receptionist never stood up, but he never actually saw the chair she was sitting in. Jon commented on this. "She was one of the first to get this sort of punishment," said the nurse. "Almost 15 years ago. She was male, like you, before she was punished. She's been with us ever since and she's loved every minute of it. She'll be so pleased to know that there's another of her in the hospital."
