Lisa decided to search for the medallion. She knew it could be really dangerous, especially in the wrong hands. It was her responsibility as the owner of the medallion to make sure it was always in the right hands. And the longer it was out in the open like this, the less safe it would be. Going home could wait. This was more important.
She backtracked her steps, but couldn't find it anywhere. She knew she had it when she approached the Williams house, so it must have been anywhere from there to where she was right now. She crossed her fingers, hoping that no one had picked it up, or even worse, used it.
Unknown to her, however, someone already had. And that was Brenda Williams, the newest vessel to the essence of Sydney.
