As Brenda chanted, an image appeared in her mind. It was that of a black case. When the image expanded, she saw that the case was sitting on her front lawn. She had no idea what was in the case, but her spirit (Sydney's spirit) was drawn to it. And that meant that whatever was inside it must have had magical properties.

She opened her eyes and stopped chanting, then stood up and made her way out of the bedroom and to the front door. She opened the door and looked out. There it was, just like in her vision: a small black case.

She left her house and picked it up off the lawn, then she came back inside and closed the door.

Brenda walked into the living room, sat down on the sofa, and opened the case. Inside was an old and ugly bronze medallion ... and a folded up note.

She unfolded the note and read it:

*To whom it may concern. If you are reading this note, you are no doubt the new owner of the Medallion of Zulo. Take heed, that while it may look like no more than cheap jewelry, it is the greatest thing you could have ever found. For this medallion is magic.

Using the Medallion is simple. Just put it on and touch a piece of clothing to it. The Medallion's magic will transform your body into an exact copy of the person who last wore the clothing, as they were when they last wore it. If you touch a piece of clothing to it that has never been worn, you will change into a version of yourself that is appropriate for the clothing. Finally, if you touch the Medallion to another person, both you and the other person will change into each other.

But there are things you must be careful of when using the Medallion. First, there is a time limit. Once a person has been changed by the Medallion, they cannot change again for twelve hours. Second, if the Medallion is taken off or separated from the article of clothing during the transformation, then the transformation will stop where it is. Usually, you can finish transforming just by putting the Medallion back on and touching it to the clothing again. But if you wait too long (roughly ten minutes after taking it off or removing it from the article of clothing), then you will not be able to change until the time limit has passed. Finally, there is the matter of changes to the mind. Normally, this is nothing more than small things. Knowing how to walk or get dressed, just little things to make it easier to function in the new body. But there is a chance, regardless of how small, that larger changes might be made.

This is all I have to tell you. The Medallion and all the possibilities it presents are yours now. I ask only that, should you ever decide to get rid of it, that you place this note back in the box so that the Medallion's next owner will know how to use it as well.*

As she read the note, her grin got bigger and bigger. Brenda was elated. This was beyond her greatest expectations. Not only could she think and act like Sydney, but with this medallion, she could be Sydney. Just as she was before her death.

And why just stop there? She could turn everyone into Sydney. Mind, body, and (most importantly) soul. With that many vessels of her likeness, Sydney could become the most powerful witch on the planet!

Lisa ran as fast as she could back to her house, but when she finally got to her street, she realized that the case holding the medallion was gone. She must have dropped it! But where and when?

She stopped, wondering if she should continue her way back home or retrace her steps and find the medallion. In the wrong hands, the medallion could be very dangerous. But she also wanted to make sure that her parents knew she was okay.

What should she do?
