She hurried to her mother's room, where she found her getting ready for work.
"Mom...what am I becoming?"
"Don't you know, dear?" She asked, matter of factly. "You're turning into a nerd."
"But, I don't look or feel like a nerd," Jen said
"Well, dear, there are multiple kinds of nerds, of course. A stereotypical nerd is intelligent, but socially and physically awkward. You don't have to be the sort with acnes, braces, or pants up to your armpits. That's usually just in the movies. They didn't give us a full briefing on that during your punishment hearing. But, keep working with your Hypnotron, and you'll be back to school in no time."
She went back to her room.
