I stopped when I saw her. She was exactly how I had imagined, and I was happy to see that I was still attracted to women. I wanted to run over right away, but I had Shazan to deal with and I was embarrassed to let him know I was really a guy. "There she is," I said quietly. "I can take it from here. Thank you, though."
"It's a pleasure, m' dear," Shazan said with a smile. "If you need me, I'll be at the Giant's Blood." He bowed his head and stepped away, disappearing into the crowd.
"Nice guy," I muttered to myself as I approached Susie. "Hey, there!" I called as I ran over, my boobs jiggling.
"Can I help you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. She wore a dark cloak that covered her figure, and had what appeared to be a religious tattoo between her eyes, yet this was still obviously the girl from all my pictures, and she was certainly very cute.
"I was right," I said with a giggle. "You are a lovable rogue."
"David?" she asked with surprise, her eyes widening. "You're a girl!"
"Yep," I grinned, enjoying her shock. "The name's Misty."
"But..." her mouth fell open, "Why???"
"I just wanted to get a feel for the game," I explained. "So I hit the randomizer and came out like this. Don't worry, I'll make a real one before we play again..." I trailed off as she shook her head. "What's wrong?"
"Oh, David," she groaned, "Don't you read the rules? The avatar is only temporary until you leave your home, after which it's locked in permenantly."
"I'm stuck?" I cried, staring down at my slender hands with long, painted fingernails, and of course at my boobs. Suddenly my dreams of being a powerful knight were dashed from me, leaving me with only the barest possibility of being an adventurer. Hot tears grew in my eyes, and began to roll down my cheeks.
"Hey, now, don't cry," Susie comforted me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Being a girl isn't so bad. I'll teach you everything you need to know. And hey," her voice turned mischievious, "Our avatars are bisexual by default. Have any girl/girl fantasies?"
"Well, yeah," I said, for what heterosexual guy didn't? "But I didn't expect to be one of the girls!"
"Maybe it's time to broaden your horizons," she suggested with a leer. I grinned despite myself, glad for Susie's acceptance.
