"All right," said the three in unison, speaking as Sydney again.
"You want bodies. I read the instructions for the manual. I know there are ways to get spare bodies."
"How?"
"It's easy. First of all, the medallion changes you into whoever wore a set of clothes. Find something that's worn by two people, like a costume or a big quilt or something, transform into two people, then take one of the extra bodies."
"Uh-huh," said Brenda/Sydney.
"Or turn into someone pregnant. Your Mom gave birth to you before, she can do it again. Turn the baby into you and put your essence in there. And it has no mind of its own to object."
"Uh-huh," said Mom/Sydney.
"Sheesh. Change a spider or something into one of you. Nobody will care about losing a spider and you can easily get three bodies that way."
"Spiders can't wear medallions," said Dad/Sydney.
"It was just an example! Find a dog or a cat or something. Or find an old person who is willing to let you use their body half the time in exchange for being a teenager again. You don't need to take innocent people who haven't done anything to you! And if you can barely control three, you're not going to be able to control four, so you can't really do anything to me. If you do one of those things you can let everyone go and then I won't tell anyone. Nobody would believe me anyway."
