It must have been a half hour later when the door opened. Standing there was yet another person resembling Sydney.
Lisa had an idea of what the medallion and Sydney's magic could do by now and said "Mom? Dad? Who is it? If you know me, please tell me you remember me!"
The pale girl there clutched her head and said "Lisa, it's me. Your Dad. Quickly... She didn't get it right. Now..." Her voice suddenly changed tone and said "be my vessel!" when it suddenly changed back. "No, you have to help us. Sydney's one person. She only has one essence. If she divides it among three people each person only has a third of it. She can't control us. And I'm sorry I ever doubted you."
"B-- but what can I do?"
Her face briefly twisted into a snarl. "Come in and sit down on the chair I have provided...."
Another Sydney--by her clothes, Lisa's mom--approached and said "The medallion only does minor changes, like walking. It hardly even matters. It just makes it more convenient for Sydney because she has a suitable body."
A third Sydney pushed her aside. No doubt it was Brenda. "I can't let you leave. You know too much. You should have just fled."
"What do you want?"
"It doesn't matter what I want. Get her!" As she yelled, the other two, momentarily possessed by the essence of Sydney, marched towards Lisa, but the former Brenda came to her senses and tried to grab their clothes.
"Wait!" exclaimed Lisa. "I have an idea... will you free everyone if I can give you something that works as well?"
