Lisa's eyes fluttered open and she awoke. Her head turned and saw that sunlight was pouring in through the window. It was morning.
She turned towards the clock. It said 9:32 AM. She forced herself to sit up and get out of bed, and that's when she saw her reflection in the mirror across from the bed. She was back to normal! She jumped out of bed (the Medallion of Zulo bouncing from side to side) and ran to the mirror. She needed to know that this was real and not a figment of her imagination. She touched her face and her hair. It was all her own. She smiled. She couldn't have felt happier.
She looked down at the medallion, which was still hanging from her neck. The previous night, she had put it on, hoping that it would change her back to normal once the 12-hour period was over and it looked like her hopes were fulfilled.
Lisa took off the medallion and put both it and the note back in the black case. She wondered what she should do with it. Now since she knew how it worked and that it wasn't permanent, she was curious to see who she could become with it. But first thing was first - she needed to go home and make sure her parents knew she was alright.
